  1. Leadership and management go hand in hand although they are different in scope. A manager’s job is to plan, organize and coordinate and a leader’s job is to inspire and motivate. The two are opposite sides of the same coin.

  2. A leader directs and motivates others to achieve. A manager on the other hand is more concerned with making decisions and achieving goals through co-ordinating the available resources effectively.
